These vintage circa 1950’s blue Can-Can garters come in their original packaging. The illustration features a stylized 1920’s or Wild West saloon/cabaret theme with a line of Can-Can dancers lifting their skirts. During the 1950’s and 1960’s, there was a major pop-culture resurgence of vintage "Gay Nineties," roaring twenties, and old-west saloon aesthetics in media, fashion, and novelty items. Garters like these were widely sold as humorous novelty gifts, bachelorette party favors, or costume accessories.
